Breaking News February 6, 2007 - Communities met their goals! Letter to the Editor, Daily Tribune To the residents of Biron, Grand Rapids and Wisconsin Rapids: Thank you, thank you. We asked and you responded. We were able to meet our $20,000 goal for the Biron, Grand Rapids and Wisconsin Rapids Area Progress Fund by Dec. 31, which was matched dollar for dollar by the Barker-Mead Fund, through Community Foundation of South Wood County. We look forward to seeing you at the Community Picnic in June, the Downtown Grand Affair and other community activities which you will have helped sponsor.
