Cluster Update

April 23, 2007
The Small Business Cluster invites you to the Breakfast Club ~ May 25, from 7:30 to 8:30am at Heart of Wisconsin. Network with business owners and employees and enjoy a light breakfast. A short information video by Hattie Bryant will also be shown.

September 18, 2006
The Small Business Cluster is hosting another Entrepreneurial Boot Camp on October 26 - 28 and 30th. They are also hosting a Building Business Essentials Seminar in November. This seminar is geared toward helping businesses expand and identify opportunities for growth. Future projects for the cluster will include the Business to Business Match Making Event and Business 2 Business Club reintroduction.

February 6, 2006
This cluster has developed a Business 2 Business Club that meets the first Wednesday of every month 12:00 noon at the Wood County Courthouse Auditorium. An evening club meeting will held in April featuring an encore of Bob Miller's Budgeting Presentation. Members of the cluster participate in and support the Entrepreneurial Boot Camp. This group is exploring the issue of helping people increase the quality of their business plans to aid in the qualification process for obtaining business loans. Business training and speaker needs have been identified for the business community. The group is planning to hold a Business Matchmaking Event. A challenge for each cluster member to bring someone to the next meeting has been issued by the co-chairs.
